I joined a friend to review the play Mary Poppins, Broadway in Chicago. It was excellent but that’s not what this blog is about. My ‘rock-solid’ view of Chicago was shattered that night. We went to a new hot spot, Sunda, for dinner. All was fairly Chicago normal.

Round Toed Shoes

With all the styles out there, there really isn’t too much that is unacceptable. It just comes down to personal preference. I’m 5’3” with a shoe size of 6 ½. I love the look of the round toe Mary-Janes but every time I try them on I feel short and stocky even if they have heels.

Extrovert I am, I struck up a conversation with the bartender after he mocked me for trying to recreate a drink I’d had on a trip to Houston last summer. The drink, as he’d predicted, was a bust, but the conversation was very interesting.
