Dealing with Muffin Top

 

Every woman knows about “muffin top”.  For those of you who don’t, “muffin top” is a gentler way of describing that saggy roll just above your waist.  It doesn’t matter what you weigh.  My little saggy roll muffin top has posed new challenges in my wardrobe, especially with white tee shirts.  If they are too tight and the fabric too thin, they showcase my muffin top both front and back. Darker colors and sturdier fabrics are much more forgiving.  

However, we all need tees and my favorite this season a Jones New York boat-neck, cap sleeve tee.  It has enough stretch for shape and is not paper-thin.  I was lucky enough to find it at one of my local haunts.  I liked it so much I went back to see if there were more and snapped up the last two.  I haven’t tossed the tees that I’m no longer comfortable wearing, just relegated them to the “to be worn under something else” category.
