I love the Olympics, always have. I watch all the events that I can, even those I’m not so fond of, like wrestling and weight lifting. One of my favorites is beach volleyball, especially women’s. I’ve heard there has been some ballyhoo about the bikinis that the women wear when competing.

If you’ve seen them, you know that these are not string bikinis. They’re sports bikinis. There are no exposed cheeks or bouncing boobs. These women are fit, lean, tanned and fierce. So, who’s doing the grousing. Well, for one, the countries that only permit their women to participate in sports where they can wear “acceptable” clothing. This definitely eliminates beach volleyball. Those burkas can be cumbersome. The others griping, I’m pretty sure, are those that would kill to look like any one of these women.
