Dinner with Friends

We couldn’t get reservation at this new Catalan restaurant, but we gambled with an early arrival hoping to get seated for dinner. I looked online to get a feel for the place and decide what I was going to wear. 

I only brought a handful of clothes and because it just snowed 8 inches the day before, I felt anything sleeveless or “skimpy” was out. I knew I was wrong when we walked through the door and the hostess was wearing a sequined tube top.

I was too casual in my Stitch’s jeans, Kaporal army jacket, and knee high boots. I just really didn’t expect the tanks, halters and sequins in Chicago, in March.  I felt like I was in LA. One very prim and proper looking woman had on an all sequined black tank. I have one but it is in my “Vegas” suitcase. 

Hmm, prime example why City Suitcase is here; so you can be informed. Pull out the Spring attire, ladies………….even though it’s 32 degrees outside.
