I just don’t get it

Every now and then a trend comes around and you don’t really “get it”.  Well, the Summer scarf trend is it. In NY, LA, Chicago…and other cities it’s hitting 80 – 100 with humidity.

The last thing I want is a scarf around my neck keeping it warm. What’s up? How did it get started? Who started it, damn, it? But the truth be told, I’m seeing it everywhere. In the last month, I’ve been in CA, NY, and Chicago and there is a plethora of scarves even with tanks and short shorts. I just don’t get it.
