Making Your Wardrobe Work for You
April 27, 2009
If you have recently changed jobs or re-entered the work force, you may have realized that dipping into your closet each morning is not quite as magical as it once was.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could all do the Jane Jetson and walk into some chamber and emerge with the perfect outfit every time? Actually, come to think of it, she usually wore the same thing every day, and that’s no fun at all! But I digress…
Of course, you probably own the basic office standards: a figure-flattering pair of black slacks, classic white button-up and slimming blazer, but you don’t have to stick to humdrum!
Make your clothing work for you. Find garments that can be used for more than one season and occasion. For example, a hot pair of summery white pants can be paired with a more conservative top or jacket to help you blend in to the environment while still looking smoking hot. Use your accessories to further your mission. This way you can maximize your existing wardrobe and still be summer ready!
