Plain White Tees

 

No, we’re not talking about the band, but rather my obsession with white t-shirts and tanks! They are both staple à la carte items and important layering pieces. It amazes me that I can have 30 white tanks and tees (really, I just counted) and still not have one that is appropriate for what I’m wearing.

As Dr. Seuss might say, “too long, too short, too tight, too frilly, too silly”. Not to mention that after a season of hard working tees, it’s time to replace them with fresh, white ones. 

I’ve gotten in the habit of buying a gaggle of them at the end of the season so that I’ll have new ones for next year. And, if I happen to come across a good sale, I buy one in XS, S and M so I can accommodate my mood and apparel needs. 

My favorites are the Banana Republic tees, tanks and camis -  almost always a deal, not too pricey (so you can buy plenty) and just the right stretch and fit.
